Peanut butter heaven

Okay we all developed a love for peanut butter as kids. Well most of us anyways ;) and for us that have, I have the perfect cure for that sweet tooth. My friend Wendy introduced me to a peanut butter cake recipe a few years ago and over the years I have altered it slightly to make it what I call "Peanut Butter Heaven". This cake smells so good it makes your mouth water, the icing is so light and tasty that it melts in your mouth every time you take a bite. I use real Reese's candy bars, and a Ghirardelli milk chocolate ganache along with a whipped peanut butter icing made with real cream not shortening (like many chain stores use). I made this cake for my baby shower (cause while pregnant it was my one craving I could eat all the time!), and also for birthdays, bake sales, church fundraisers, congratulations, and thank you's. It is totally worth a try!!! It is one cake that everyone ask for the recipe for cause they just can't get enough it.
