Custom cakes

I found my passion for cake making when I attempted my 1st child's 2nd birthday cake. She had milk allergies so I knew that I would be making one at home from scratch. After lots of research I realized that with a little work that it was a great past time for me, making cakes for custom orders. Then I got really ambitious when she picked out a picture of a princess carriage cake in a magazine. I thought why not.... And so Kandee's Cakes was created, kind of, this was many years ago but I have been doing cakes ever since. I have to give a shout out to my mother though, who baked for us growing up and made most our cakes from scratch at home. I remember watching her make amazing cakes for our birthdays, my favorite was when she used the star method on individual size mini big bird cakes for each child in my school class for my birthday. Not that's talent and love. Anyway back to point...... here are pictures of a few cakes I have made (please keep in mind that some pics I never intended others to see, and they are not taken well or with the nicest background). I make custom cakes for anyone who would like one. I have never been given an idea that I can't make into a cake and I love being challenged. I can customize a cake for any reason... food allergies, theme, flavor, design.... you name it and I am willing to try it.
